Now a days youngsters are more concerned about their skin care where the nutrition towards it is necessary. Improper diet causes the metabolic damage which affects our overall body organs. We have to balance a proper diet and feed the vital nutrients to our skin. Vitamin E plays a major role in skin care where it is a good antioxidant which supports a good immune system. Other important nutrients are Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Zinc and Selenium. Healthy diet doesn't cause changes in overnight where it will take some time for the better results. Here are some of the healthiest foods and tips for a fabulous and a glowing skin.

1. Fruits and vegetables
In our daily basis it is necessary to take some portions of fruits and vegetables in our diet. They are rich source of antioxidants which helps in cell repair. You can include a bowl of the below mentioned vegetables or fruits in your daily diet for a glowing skin.

Carrots are less in calories but they are the combination of antioxidant and Vitamins. They are rich in Vitamin A which repairs the skin due to harmful sun's rays. Not only carrots are good for skin they are good for our eyes and maintenance of a good digestive system. Carrots are high in Beta-carotene which helps in enriching our skin color.

Sweet potatoes are rich in Vitamin C and E, which helps in making the skin healthy. It tightens the skin and makes to feel younger.

Pumpkins are rich in Vitamin C and they are also a good antioxidant. It contains beta-carotene which repairs the UV damage and enhances the skin. They are also responsible for curing wrinkles and also skin cancer.

Papayas are packed with plenty of nutrients and they are responsible for skin lightening. They are high in fiber, Rich in Antioxidants,vitamins and minerals. Papayas are a good moisturizer for skin, clears pigmentation,wrinkles, dark circles, psoriasis, tan, acne and so on. We can also apply papaya directly towards the skin which gives better result.

Oranges are rich in citric acid which helps in exfoliating the skin. It enhances the skin and gives you a good look. Orange peels are rich in Vitamin C where the dry peels can be used as a daily body scrub.

There are plenty of other fruits and vegetables like Tomatoes, Broccoli, Avocado, Kiwi, Bell peppers and Spinach which has plenty of nutrients which helps in  maintaining a healthy skin.

2. Fish
Fatty fishes like Salmon and mackerel are rich in Omega-3 Fatty acids which helps in enhancing the skin and maintain it healthy. It moisturizes the skin and eliminates dryness. Sea foods contains high protein content which maintains the strength and quality of the skin. Zinc in fishes reduces skin inflammation and protects from cell damage.

3. Berries
Different kinds of berries like strawberries, raspberries, cranberries and blueberries are packed with plenty of antioxidants which protects our skin from sun damages. Berries helps to enhance the tone of the skin and helps in skin sensitivity.

4. Nuts
Nuts are the complete combo of nutrients like Vitamin A,C and E,Zinc and copper which helps in maintaining the quality of the skin. A handful of nuts in our daily diet is enough to boost these nutrients.

Walnuts are bitter in taste but it plays a major role in enhancing your skin health towards the wrinkles.

Almonds keeps our skin hydrated and further fights against acne and dark spots.

Cashews are called as "Acne fighter" packed with plenty of nutrients like zinc, vitamin E which makes our skin hydrated and regulates inflammations.

5. Dark Chocolates
The cocoa powder present in the dark chocolates are packed with powerful antioxidants which gives a hydrated skin and prevents from sunburn and UV damage. Dark chocolates reduces wrinkles and makes you feel younger.

6. Water
A well hydrated body leads to a healthy skin. Drink plenty of water a day which not only gives you a healthy skin and body, also helps you in digestion and blood circulation. More you are hydrated results in reduced wrinkles, improved complexion and reduces acne. It helps in skin tightening and slows down the ageing. If you are fully hydrated the dryness and itchiness towards the skin gradually decreases. Drinking adequate amount of water flushes the toxins out from the digestive system and increases your skin complexion and makes healthy.
